Client Wir-entdecken-bayern.de is DB Regio Bayern’s excursion portal for discovering and planning day trips in Bavaria that are easy to reach by regional train. It offers a large collection of curated trip ideas (well over 500), an “Inspirator” to find suggestions matching your interests (e.g., hiking or city trips), destination pages with practical info for planning, and a ticket section with leisure ticket guidance (e.g., Bayern-Ticket).
Goal In addition to modernizing the look of the website, new features for guiding the user towards their preferred trip destination where needed. Making the website accessible for users with disabilities was another priority that had to be accounted for.
